Seems to be rather a problem of snapcraft. The problem does not occur when I build the snap with ubuntu 16.04 and then install it on a 17.10 machine.
Looks as if snapcraft puts libdl from the machine, where the snap is built, into the snap, but snapd then runs it against libc from the core snap, and both don't fit together. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1727695 Title: snap linker/libs problem with 17.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd/+bug/1727695/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
