I agree with you but I think you misunderstand a little.
AWALT, which I assume you're referring to, says that all women *have
the capacity to* do shitty things. This might seem obvious to you,
but I and many people I know were raised to believe that the sun
shines out of a woman's every orifice.
For me at least, it **was** necessary to be told repeatedly that
"women aren't flat-out better than men, and in many ways men have an
edge".
