Are the following bugs related to this one? Perhaps these bugs are different manifestations of the same underlying problem?..
If the dock receives two events, or responds twice to each event, then the Applications "dash" would seem to not appear when you touch the applications grid icon/button, because the applications dash would be quickly shown and unshown. Here are examples of this "double" response , which seems to be limited to touch-screen interfaces: Bug #1730281 "Application icons appear and suddenly disappear when Applications Button is activated via a touchscreen" Bug #1705689 "When adding an app to favourites, two icons are created" Bug # ??? I also noted that touching on an application in the dock opens two instances of the application. I haven't seen if a bug report has been filed for this issue yet, but it would be additional evidence for my theory. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1725384 Title: On touch screens, the apps icon in the dock does not open when touched To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-extension-ubuntu-dock/+bug/1725384/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
