It never starts. Just to be clear, I don't have it set up to auto- start, it happens when I try and open the program through the application menu - or through the console.
Or at least I was having the problem. It seems to have fixed itself on this last reboot. Although I had tried rebooting previously, and even going so far as to create another user and logging in with that user. I did change how my monitors were plugged in - I plugged one in that was not plugged in before (the joys of moving to a new office) -but that would have been the only change. Note that firefox and thunderbird were not just showing up on the missing monitor - there was no indication in Gnome that they were running, from both the taskbar and the desktop switcher app. You can go ahead and close this, I guess. -- 2.0.0.8 update causes firefox and thunderbird no longer show up in gnome https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/156356 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
