Public bug reported:

To replicate: open a .tar.gz archive containing a folder, and drag and
drop the folder to a nautilus window.

Expected results: The folder should be decompressed to the destination
open in the nautilus window.

Actual results: The mouse cursor changes to indicate nautilus is
prepared to accept the dropped folder; but nothing happens when the
mouse button is released.
