Public bug reported:
I can play video fine when I have a small window, but trying to resize of
maximize the video corrupts the screen and slows the computer to a halt.
I have a dual wide-screen setup with a nvidia 6600gt video card. I am using the
restricted driver (recommended when I booted in the first time).
I can play video without trouble when in single screen mode (disabling one of
the screens)
When both screens are on, I can play video fine if I switch to metacity.
When it corrupts, I get purple in the player window, the screen goes blank a
couple times, and sometimes the monitors say there is an invalid resolution.
Generally I quit gdm before that point and log back in.
Any thoughts what might be wrong?
Thanks, Bart.
