Currently, only jEdit v4.2 is available in the Ubuntu repositories. It
was released in 2004, and the preview releases of v4.3 offer a lot more
usability and functionality, while providing excellent stability. I hope
you can include the newest preview as an alternative package. Thank you
for your time!
