Public bug reported: Update manager shows only the synopsis when prompting to update a package, without including the package name. For example: "Educational games for small children".
...I have 10 packages installed with games for children. Why doesn't update-manager just tell me that this is gcompris? The matter gets worse if you take into account description translations. Or, "interactive high-level object-oriented language (default version)". Eh, I have 10 languages installed, just concatenate the package name, e.g. "python: interactive high-level object-oriented language (default version)" so that people know what they're updating! Yes, it's possible to select a package, and then expand the technical description, and finally you get to see the package name in the changelog, but that doesn't help much when you need to do that for 30 packages.
