Please note that the hardware errors reported for /dev/sdd in Dmesg.txt
are related to USB communication problems with one of two external hard
drives, which are probably irrelevant (despite these errors, the hard
drive does work -- it does not contain any files related to the reported
bug).

I have two internal SSDs which contain the system directories.

After the previous update (a day earlier), I had a system freeze during
shutdown, and one during daytime. Only once I had to run fsck on the
drive containing the /home folder (but not the /usr folder).

It might be possible (not necessarily though) that the reported problem
is insular to my own machine, but I'm not entirely sure about that.
