Please note that the hardware errors reported for /dev/sdd in Dmesg.txt are related to USB communication problems with one of two external hard drives, which are probably irrelevant (despite these errors, the hard drive does work -- it does not contain any files related to the reported bug).
I have two internal SSDs which contain the system directories. After the previous update (a day earlier), I had a system freeze during shutdown, and one during daytime. Only once I had to run fsck on the drive containing the /home folder (but not the /usr folder). It might be possible (not necessarily though) that the reported problem is insular to my own machine, but I'm not entirely sure about that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1733916 Title: package libc-bin 2.23-0ubuntu9 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 139 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/glibc/+bug/1733916/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
