Done some more test installing Ubuntu 18.04 LTS "Bionic Beaver" - Alpha amd64

on various partitions of same disk on my PC:
Problem does NOT occur with live session
Problem does NOT occur with an installation in us-english - installation default
problem DOES occur with an installation in italian - language italian locale
italian
problem DOES occur with an installation in english-italian - language english
locale italian
problem DOES occur with the above installation also changing locale to english:
