Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Using OpenOffice.org 2.3.0 (upgraded ubuntu 7.10).
I am trying to save changes made to a newly created spreadsheet. I get the
same error in writer as is calc. I have tried odt/ods and doc/xls file formats
with the same results.

"Error saving the document test: File exists already exists."

Upon clicking ok I get the same error again. Another OK click and this
is the resulting message:

"Error saving the document test: General Error. General Input/Output
error."

I have tried this on multiple machines with the same result. I am able
to save the document to the desktop and make changes then it saves fine.
Then I have to copy the file from the desktop to the windows share
overwriting the older version.

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
