VLC opens videos file and only plays audio without video. This only occurs on
my amd64 system of gutsy.
On my i386 installation vlc works flawless.
Problem has been since upgrade from feisty.
Also deleted the vlc-config folder (.vlc) without success.
I've tried several ffmpeg versions with the same result.
gutsy: 3:0.cvs20070307-5ubuntu4
medibuntu: 3:0cvs20070307-5ubuntu4+medibuntu1
upure64: 3:0cvs20070823-0.0ubuntu1~upure64+1
So I think the problem should be in the vlc packages
