I have a Dell XPS 13 9343
Recently, the touchpad stopped working. The touchpad works under the BIOS, so I
believe that it is not a hardware issue, but a Linux kernel bug.
The touchpad does not show up in
cat /proc/bus/input/devices
For the touchpad, the Vendor name is COMPAL and the Vendor Part Number is
PK09000FS0L
The problem is currently visible in 4.13.0-16-generic
though this kernel originally worked, I believe, and 4.13.0-17 failed.
I continued to use 16 for a while, but after the upgrade to 4.13.0-19,
4.13.0-16 stopped working as well.
