Indeed, as said Deng, you should launch hddtemp as a daemon first.
glances use a socket to fetch hddtemp infos (see:
https://github.com/nicolargo/glances/blob/7a0b7e85ae5a7e08c64053ace138afd32be2b402/glances/plugins/glances_hddtemp.py#L78
)
