yes, I'm hoping to have a kernel build with some added debug to track/list exactly what socket(s) are still holding lo device references when the container is killed/shutdown, so testing with that would help clarify the specifics of this problem, once I have the debug kernel ready and built. I will update this bug once I have something ready to test. > Also already tried the latest kernel from http://kernel.ubuntu.com /~kernel-ppa/mainline/: and I assume that did not help, correct? This problem still exists upstream (assuming we're all encountering the same problem that I'm debugging) and will require an upstream patch. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1711407 Title: unregister_netdevice: waiting for lo to become free To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1711407/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
