That's not the first time the kernel folks have done that. They do it in
the crypto subsystem to hide messages that folks would want to see and
fix, like the random number generator having no entropy but startup
programs trucking on as if get_random_{u32,u64,int,long} succeeded.

It would be nice to see the problem fixed rather than covering them up.
