Public bug reported:

I have a new Packard Bell laptop. Yes, I said new Packard Bell. I
bought this laptop for $199 and it's as good as any $199. laptop could
be. The laptop came with Windows 10 and I attempted to install Ubuntu
and thought I was successful, but I was not. On reboot I went into BIOS
settings to find my USB flash drive was no longer visible in the BIOS.
I can make changes to the BIOS and they stick but no matter what I do,
the USB device is not visable

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
