However, I'm now in trouble! After the upgrade finished and the
machine was restarted, I got the Ubuntu logo and progress bar that did
not progress and in a minute or to I got a busybox console.
I don't know what to do. I had an old Ubuntu 6.06 CD and loaded it.
Could this be related to me removing the nfs-common? I somehow
doubt. How can I find out what my problem is?
I have the following disks:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo fdisk -l /dev/hda
Disk /dev/hda: 40.0 GB, 40020664320 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 4865 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 * 1 1216 9767488+ fd Linux raid
autodetect
/dev/hda2 1217 1338 979965 fd Linux raid
autodetect
/dev/hda3 1339 4865 28330627+ fd Linux raid
autodetect
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo fdisk -l /dev/hdb
Disk /dev/hdb: 120.0 GB, 120034123776 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 14593 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hdb1 4865 14593 78148192+ 5 Extended
/dev/hdb2 * 1 1216 9767488+ fd Linux raid

/dev/hdb3 1217 1338 979965 fd Linux raid

/dev/hdb4 1339 4864 28322595 fd Linux raid
autodetect
/dev/hdb5 4865 14593 78148161 83 Linux
Partition table entries are not in disk order
My raid1 disks are: hd{a1,b2} hd{a2,b3} and hd{a3,b4} with "/", swap
and home mounted on them respectively. My data disk is hdb5. What
should I do to inspect this problem?
Thanks,
kmt
