I added
LOG_FILE=/tmp/both.log
exec > >(tee -a ${LOG_FILE} )
exec 2> >(tee -a ${LOG_FILE} >&2)
in the head of /etc/vmware-tools/scripts/vmware/network
but I do not get any log.
