For what it's worth, I don't see this problem with the current driver from Gutsy, 2:2.1.1-0ubuntu9.
I suspect it was caused by using a current xrandr binary, but with an older version of the libXRandR.so library in /usr/local. I read somewhere that the library API changed in some incompatible way without changing the .so version. Since I got rid of the version in /usr/local, I haven't seen this bug any more. It's possible that it was actually fixed by an updated driver around the same time, but in any case, I haven't seen this bug on my Gutsy system for a while now, so perhaps it can be closed. -- DVI modes set wrongly (and weirdly: 640x481!), worked in 2.0.0-1feisty1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/124946 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
