I was asked to list the binaries that are to be accepted now that all acks seem
to be in.
The assumption here is that we want all that were already in main before, but
not e.g. utils.
So we check all that it builds and where it is today:
apt-cache policy $(awk '/^Package:/ {print $2}' debian/control | xargs) | awk
'/:$/ { printf("%s ",$1) } /^ *500/ {print $3}' | grep main
libibverbs-dev: Version bionic/main
libibverbs1: Version bionic/main
librdmacm-dev: Version bionic/main
librdmacm1: Version bionic/main
But not the following:
ibacm: Version bionic/universe
ibverbs-utils: Version bionic/universe
libibcm-dev: Version bionic/universe
libibcm1: Version bionic/universe
libibumad-dev: Version bionic/universe
libibumad3: Version bionic/universe
librdmacm1: Version bionic/main
rdmacm-utils: Version bionic/universe
srptools: Version bionic/universe
There is one special case which is the merge of many libmlx* libs into
"ibverbs-providers"
So the former libs: libcxgb3-1, libipathverbs1, libmlx4-1, libmlx5-1,
libmthca1, libnes1
are now just "ibverbs-providers"
But so far all those are just universe as well:
apt-cache policy libcxgb3-1 libipathverbs1 libmlx4-1 libmlx5-1 libmthca1
libnes1 | awk '/:$/ { printf("%s ",$1) } /^ *500/ {print $3}'
libcxgb3-1: Version bionic/universe
libipathverbs1: Version bionic/universe
libmlx4-1: Version bionic/universe
libmlx5-1: Version bionic/universe
libmthca1: Version bionic/universe
libnes1: Version bionic/universe
I wonder I'd have expected libmlx[45] in main actually - but I'm no
expert here.
So based on the working theory that we'd only need:
libibverbs-dev: Version bionic/main
libibverbs1: Version bionic/main
librdmacm-dev: Version bionic/main
librdmacm1: Version bionic/main
Is that what you see in component mismatches - or is there more and if
so which?
