Update: This behavior appears to be partially due to a corrupted upgrade through the upgrade manager.
Re-partitioning and doing a fresh Gutsy install alleviated the Compiz issues - the Mx1000 now behaves the same under both window managers. However, not all 12 buttons work - but I believe this is another, known issue that is being worked on. This all seems to have stemmed from a corrupted upgrade carrying over behaviors from the previous Feisty install. I think we can disregard this as a 7.10 bug. (I will still have to wait for someone to figure out 12-button Mx1000 support, but that is a different issue) -- X does not recognize some xbindkeys button mappings when compiz is enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/156706 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
