Hi, first, thank you for your reply. I got at the bottom of it. The "Default entry" is created if symlink(s) "vmlinuz" (& "initrd.img") exist(s) in the directory "/boot" (viz. update-grub shell script). So I deleted them and I am now satisfied, that it works how I looked for.
