Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu
better.

I see that Ubuntu 17.10 includes wine 2.x, and the upcoming Ubuntu 18.04
will have wine 3.x available.
(https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine) I therefore believe this can
be marked as fix released.

I suppose Wine might be considered too complex for a backport, but if
you need it in previous versions of Ubuntu, please follow the
instructions for "Requesting a Backport" at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBackports#Requesting_a_Backport.

Btw, when reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using
'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more
about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

** Package changed: wine1.6 (Ubuntu) => wine (Ubuntu)

** Changed in: wine (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Fix Released
