Hi Frederico,
It looks like the patch you sent upstream is not applicable anymore upstream
(and here in Bionic) and needs little changes.
This is clearly an upstream bug and would be useful in other distributions as
well thus I would not carry it only in Ubuntu unless there are no other options.
Could you please refresh the patch and send it upstream again?
If you are not interested in that I will try upstreaming an updated version
later, before accepting it to Ubuntu only.
