Public bug reported:
Please make xubuntu-desktop depend on numlockx and then add the
following code to /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf.d/50-numlock.conf:
[Seat:*]
greeter-setup-script=numlockx on
in order to make the numlock = on, by default, on desktop
machines(laptop-detect = 0)
The lack of this functionality has been a constant irritant to my
Microsoft Windows converts.
