With new HWE kernel 4.13 for Ubuntu 16.04, there was a major change from
smb v1 to smb v3 as default method in the kernel 4.13 and now smb4k
1.1.2 from xenial repo is no longer working.
Only Version 2.0 of smb4k is supporting smb v3.
Solution is an updated version of smb4k in the ubuntu repo.
