Actually I am still experiencing this on Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS (Kernel
4.4.0-101-generic). In particular I have seen that when I run a lot of
Docker containers and they are killed because of OOM errors (because of
using more memory than given to them by Docker), then frequently the
machine freezes/dies and outputs the message below into the syslog:
