This package discontinued upstream and its functionality is completely
covered by cups-filters. So please uninstall this package:
sudo dpkg -P foomatic-filters
and make sure the appropriate components of cups-filters are installed:
sudo apt-get install cups-filters
Closing this bug as it is about an obsolete package.
