I've tried SUM to see if I could get the USplash screen to show on Gutsy
AMD64. It didn't work and gave me some line about wrong screen
resolutions being given. So I reverted the previous settings. The popup
that followed said that the settings were reverted, and SUM would shut
down, but pressing OK made the application hang. I tried that on another
Gutsy machine (32 bit) and it displayed the same behaviour.
