I am sorry but I won't be able to investigate this issue any longer and since
there aren't JFS maintainers within the LTC, it is unlikely I can turn this
over to anyone else. Since the middle of 2017, there have been a few more
commits to JFS but they didn't appear to be helpful in this area affected.
