As you may see there are a lot of packages in "half-configured" status.
So the problem is not in "astromenace" package but in a common state of
your system.
I would recommend to try something like:
LC_ALL=C sudo dpkg --configure -a --force-all
LC_ALL=C sudo apt-get -f install -V
Also you did not show how exactly you have deleted astromenace related
packages. For properly deleting of them use something like this:
LC_ALL=C sudo apt-get purge -V astromenace astromenace-data-src
** Changed in: astromenace (Ubuntu)
Status: Incomplete => Invalid
