I am also affected by this bug, and have been for a couple of months. I
have a Logitech M310 wireless mouse, which has been working fine for a
long time until recently:

⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)]
⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Logitech K520 id=9 [slave pointer (2)]
⎜ ↳ Logitech M310/M310t id=10 [slave pointer (2)]

There are now around 50 people registered as affected by this bug, and
it has a bug heat nudging 250. It would be really great if some kind
soul could investigate this.
