I have ran the tool a few times because it seemed to be crashing - at
first it wouldn't run at all complaining about missing PyQT, so I
installed python-qt-binding; then it seemed to be crashing due to
missing pathlib, so I installed that as well and ran it again.

Regarding the original problem, I have to say that in the last few
months Chrome has been relatively stable and I hadn't needed to call it,
so I didn't encounter that specific problem for a while now.
