I am using Lubuntu Next 17.10 from last October.

I had problems with gdebi-kde (some sort of missing module), and installed 
gdebi,
which also has a problem (if I don't invoke from terminal, cannot install, as 
no password window  ever appears), but at least I can get around it.

If one did not install gdebi (GTK), and no Qt5 replacement were ever developed,
would there be any way to use apt from a right-click context window on a .deb 
file from my file manager? (GUI way to install .deb s)?
