Public bug reported:
When the installer finishes, I'm prompted to reboot. My DVD ejects, the
GUI closes, and I get a text log screen:
[OK] Started WPA supplicant
Starting Network Managers Script Dispatcher Service...
[OK] Started Network Manager Script Dispatcher Service...
[OK] Started Network Manager Wait Online
Starting Manage, Install, and Generate Color Profiles
[OK] Reached target Network is Online.
[OK] Started crash report submission daemon.

signatures...
[OK] Started Tool to automatically collect and submit kernel crash signatures.
[OK] Started Manage, Install, and Generate Color Profiles.
[OK] Started Music Player Daemon
... and there it hangs. I have to manually reboot with the power button
(which is tedious, because my machine takes a long time to POST). But I
finally get the Plasma dashboard.
I'm using a Kubuntu 17.10.1 live DVD, installing onto a 256GB Samsung
SSD. My machine is an Acer Aspire ATC 280 with 12 GB of RAM, an AMD
A10-7800 Radeon R7 4C+8G cores, and a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card.
