Public bug reported:

Gnome Terminal application has title bar upper right corner buttons
obscured by an overlaid "chrome frame fragment". The buttons do,
however, function. Please note. This annoying decoration has been around
in Ubuntu for *many* years! Currently looking at the daily live build
installed 2018 Feb 11.
