Unfortunately I am not an advanced user to provide information like the above (I don't even understand these), but I do know that I want to help and I do know that Ubuntu 17.10 is the first (I am using ubuntu since 11.04) that I cannot afford (it is worse than windows!).
Issue: Randomly the environment freezes. I can use the mouse. I can move to another "screen" (I do not know the proper name): ctrl+alt+f2 and close open apps (through command line) like firefox or thunderbird or nautilus but nothing changes.. when or if I can go back to ctrl+alt+f7. If ubuntu only 'wants that' then it will unfreeze. The only solution I was found is the reset button.. Thank's libreoffice for automatic backups or I would have changed the OS already. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1726626 Title: No matter the interface Ubuntu 17.10 freezes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1726626/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
