First i want to thank you and many others who work for us to make Ubuntu
fantastic👏

For i know was Ubuntu 14.04 automatic upgraded into 16.04 by your collegas after
problems with my system, after this i changed Ubuntu in Xubuntu, i do not know
if there are parts of old programs left and still are installed on my computer.

I installed Xubuntu with this " sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop synaptic
gksu leafpad "

and i cleaned it with

" sudo apt-get remove nautilus gnome-power-manager gnome-screensaver
gnome-termina* gnome-pane* gnome-applet* gnome-bluetooth gnome-desktop*
gnome-sessio* gnome-user* gnome-shell-common compiz compiz* unity unity* hud
zeitgeist zeitgeist* python-zeitgeist libzeitgeist* activity-log-manager-common
gnome-control-center gnome-screenshot overlay-scrollba* && sudo apt-get install
xubuntu-community-wallpapers && sudo apt-get autoremove  "

and download this for gnome

sudo apt-get install gnome-software

This all I learned it from a Google site Schoonepc.nl, i do not know if i make
mistakes with this.

I get more and more familiair with Ubuntu and i like it very mutch after big
brother Msoft. but i have a dual boot with W.XP for my old computer programs and
games.

I hope that I informed you enough.

Thank you for you time and support

FYI i live in Amsterdam Holland

Regards

Hans
