Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager
This is on Gutsy Gibbon. Occasionally NetworkManager shows it is connected to wireless while it is not really connected. Typically this happens when I use wireless at home (WEP encryption), then suspend, and when I wake it up at work (at work we have open wireless) it shows it is still connected to my home wireless access point. Same happens if I suspend at work and wake it up at home. This used to work on Dapper Drake. I have written more about my system here: http://chandlerproject.org/Journal/UbuntuGutsyGibbonOnLatitudeD820 ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- NetworkManager shows it is connected to wireless access point while it is not https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/157483 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
