I can confirm this issue in python3-pam 0.4.2-13.2ubuntu4 on Ubuntu
bionic. Looks like the python3-version of this package was introduced in
the Ubuntu delta as it is not in Debian. Maybe part of this process
forgot to convert the whole example?
