I thought that would take care of it also. I tried it after I reported
the error. It has no effect. Tried it again today and still no effect.
Every time any sort of package operation occurs the man-db triggers and
attempts to download all man pages. It goes through every installed
package (failing each one with zcat :bad system call (core dumped)until
the whole list is exhausted and then the package operation finishes.
It is not showstopping problem for me but it is a nuisance.
