Ok , I started to compile it using clang :

 0:55.94 checking the target C compiler version... 3.8.0

 0:56.56 checking for the target C++ compiler... /usr/bin/clang++
 0:57.59 checking whether the target C++ compiler can be used... yes
 0:57.59 checking the target C++ compiler version... 3.8.0
 0:58.20 checking the target C++ compiler works... yes
 0:58.22 checking for the host C compiler... /usr/bin/clang
 0:58.73 checking whether the host C compiler can be used... yes
 0:58.73 checking the host C compiler version... 3.8.0
 0:59.34 checking the host C compiler works... yes
 0:59.34 checking for the host C++ compiler... /usr/bin/clang++
 0:59.87 checking whether the host C++ compiler can be used... yes


Will report here if will still crash , in about 20 hours .
It takes a very long time to compile , last time when I compiled it using gcc 
it was over 20 hours :) 
If anybody else have a faster machine and want to try to compile it with clang 
, based on @James Donald (jdonald) help , I can also help with instruction how 
to make it start to compiel with clang .
