Public bug reported: Currently (bionic mate-menus=1.20.0-0ubuntu1), the Applications > Internet menu is not localized in the 32bit build, and yet it's properly localized in the 64bit build.
One can easily verify that by checking this file in the generated .debs: /usr/share/mate/desktop-directories/mate-network.directory It contains a lot of translated lines in 64bit, but only 5 lines in 32bit. The related build page and build logs are at: https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mate-menus/1.20.0-0ubuntu1 After talking in #ubuntu-devel about it, it was suggested that it's probably a problem in mate-menus itself, i.e. that it doesn't handle build-parallelization properly. And in that case, it should specify that its localization shouldn't be parallelized. ** Affects: mate-menus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: mate-menus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** No longer affects: mate-menu (Ubuntu) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1752063 Title: Random localization issues probably due to build parallelization To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mate-menus/+bug/1752063/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
