Public bug reported:
GNOME Software thinks I have a snap installed which I just removed.
Killing and restarting GNOME Software rectified this. I shouldn't have to kill
GNOME Software background process for it to be in sync.
Steps to reproduce
snap install peek
snap install gnome-3-26-1604
snap connect peek:gnome-3-26-1604 gnome-3-26-1604
snap run peek
Peek runs.
snap remove peek
snap remove gnome-3-26-1604
Open GNOME Software
Search for Peek (to test re-installing it via G-S)
Expected behaviour
- Get an [Install] button
Actual behaviour
- Get a [Launch] button
Workaround
killall gnome-software
gnome-software
