The error (or the opening of the browser for the bug report?) just caused the Update 7.04 to 7.10 to fail (the Update window just closed at a given point). That left my Ubuntu partition unbootable. Seems as if a complete reinstall would be necessary (which is for me a pain in the a... as I have a FakeRaid system), :-(
