Lcd brightness not controllable, always stuck at highest level: kubuntu
7.10 desktop amd64, core 2 duo cpu, dell vostro 1500 laptop, nvidia
GeForce 8400M GS (rev a1) graphics card
fn+up/down does not work to increase/decrease brightness level
nvidia-glx-new is also installed.
im going blind :-|
