Public bug reported:

I have set up the xfce4-screenshooter to be invoked with the "-r" flag
when pressing the Printscreen button on the keyboard (i almost always
only want to capture a region of the screen).

This works very well, except when the Printscreen button is accidently
pressed a second time before selecting a region.

If this happens, the screen goes even darker and you can't select a
region. Pressing Escape doesn't help either. There is no way to interact
with the desktop.

When switching to a console (e.g. CTRL-ALT-F1) i can see that
xfce4-screenshooter runs multiple times. If i kill those processes, the
desktop becomes usable again.

A possible fix would be to allow only a single instance of the programm
to run.
