Public bug reported:

Ubuntu Bionic currently has MAAS 2.4 alpha 1. This is a Standing Feature
Freeze Exception request for MAAS 2.4 upcoming alpha/beta/rc/final
releases for Ubuntu Bionic.

Dependencies & Upgrade
======================

MAAS 2.4 has introduced the following features:

 - Replacement of NTPd in favor of chrony,
 - Ability to lock machines


Upcoming releases are targeted to bugfix, improve and complete the features 
above.

Testing
======

Testing performed:

 - CI testing
 - Manual UI testing
 - Fresh install testing
 - Upgrade testing
