When you say faulty, does this mean bad translations or missing all
together? Can you give some examples?

(I don't know which package contains the strings used for the alternate
installer, but that would be a good place at which translations exists
and whether they need to be updated. Have marked Ubuntu translations as
also affected, in the hope that someone there might know :) )
